SAVAGE ROOSTER
A BOY ATTACKED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day
An extraordinary story of a large rooster's savage attack on a boy is reported at Orakei. The child was sitting on a hank, when the rooster appeared and flew at him. Springing into the air the bird gashed the boy over the left eye and underneath the right eye. The mother, who ran to the child's rescue, was also attacked. After fighting the rooster with a handbag for some time, she succeeded in driving it off. The injured child was taken to a doctor, who discovered' that the wounds were not serious. ,
