Wellington representative senior and junior teams tried conclusions with Nelson representatives at Botanical Reserve on Saturday afternoon. Weather conditions were ideal and the ground, thanks to attention hy the City Council, was.in perfect condition. Tlie attendarice of the public Was only fair, hut those present were rewarded with two fast., keen games, played in a true sporting Spirit. Both .games resulted in a- draw, the score in each being 2 goals all, apd the scores were a fair indication of the play.

Toms, G. Toms, Patterson .Chapman (Nelson) won the bully, and assisted by a free hit Nelson pressed, but Barber pulled them up. Both sides liad a. turn of attacking, but infringements continually spoilt promising movements. A rush by the Wellington forwards saw Nelson concede a penalty corner.
