DOBSON MINE
• DISPUTE SETTLED (Ey Telegraph.—Press Association) GREYMOUTH, 2nd August. A dispute at the Dobson Mine over the disrating of two miners to trucking work led to a stoppage on Wednesday by all the men. Negotiations between the union and the manager were expected to settle the matter yesterday, but the non-restoration of the two miners to the ccal prevented a resumption. To.dav, when a further conference, was held, it was decided that one man be restored to the coal and that work resume to-morrow pending a iiecision by the Disputes Committee as to the case of the second man.
