NOTICE OF LOAN PROPOSAL nrilE NELSON CITY' COUNCIL, in ■*■ pursuance of the requirements of Sect ion 10 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, hereby gives notice that the said Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of £3OOO to be known as the Sands Ucserve Loan, 1928. The particular purposes for which' the loan is required are*for carrying out work at the Sands Ucservo as hereinafter specified and the sums proposed to be borrowed for each purpose are as follows: — £ Erection of Dressing Sheds and formation of an Esplanade. 1500 Children's Playground 250 Formation of a Sports Ground and general improvements 1250 £3OOO As security for payment of the Interest and Sinking Fund it* is proposed to make and levy an annually recurring Special Rate on the annual rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Nelson sufficient to" meet such interest and sinking fund payments respectively, and ten per centum" more than the annual amounts of such payments. A Sinking Fund at the rate of Six pounds thirteen shillings and four pence (£6 15s 4d) per centum per annum on the amount, of the said loan is to be provided. The said loan is to be repayable at the. expiration of twelve, years from tho date of raising thereof add is to bear interest at a rate not exceeding Five pounds ten shillings (£5 10s) per centum per annum.
