RRTDGES DAMAGED

Flood damage as the result of Friday s rain in South Westland includes the washing away of tive spans of Stu- ;"' and Chapman's tramway bridge across the Waitaki river. The damage is estimated at £IOOO. Also., two piles were washed away from the Waitangi river bridge.
