The meinbers of Hie National Union of Seamen entertained their president, Mr Have-luck Wilson, at luncheon and presented him with a golden bow] and serviette rings on the occasion of his golden welding Mr Wilson said it was nonsense to suggest that the union would down v' hen he retired. I' was one of the finest trade: unions in the world and its rcputaiion was never higher. He, as president, had had a strenuous 12 months, but Ins policy had triumphed, and il would continue to prevail wherever Mrilish seamen went.
