NEW RAILWAY STATION FOR AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, This Day
A tender has been accepted by the Government, for the construction of the new railway station at Auckland. The Prime Minister announced yesterday that "the successful tenderers -were J. T. Julian and Son. Ltd.. of Auckland. The contract price is understood to be £326,000. The work will comment*- almost immediately, and will be completed by Christmas next year.
