The suggestion that merchant sea men might, reciprocate the hospitality received ashore l»v considerate treatment of passengers anil cargo was made hy His Excellency the t tovei'iior-Cenoral, iSir Charles J-’ei-gusson, in a speech at. the Seamen’s Institute last, evening. Speaking to the seamen present, Sir Charles said : “If people give yon eourtesy and hospitality, they are entitled to expect the same treatment from you when thev go t«■ sea, and I lie public have hern in many respects very sorely tried in the past.
