Mrs 11. Anderson, of "Varver ( ullage”. College Hill, eelehrateii her 90th birthday yesterday. Mrs Anderson was horn irt -lame? Street, Manchester, on 10th April. 1838. and came to New Zealand wiien about Id years of ago. Most of her long life has been spent in Nelson. thougn various trips abroad were taken. When seen by a “Mail" representative today. Mrs Anderson looked about 30 years under her age, ami though suffering from the effects of a broken 1 1 ip sustained some vear or so ago. was still quilo active for her age. Nelson tans generally will congratulate Mrs Anderson on the event.
