Belfast in the presence of 30,000 people and oai a heavy ground, the Wales soccer team, beat Ireland by 2 goals lo v 1. At -Murray-field the Wales Rughv team defeated Scotland by 13 points" to 0. There were 50,000 spectators. The game was played in rain on a soft ground.
