DOMINION TOURN A MEN,T COMMENCED

PALMERSTON- N., This Day. The Dominion tournament of the New Zealand Croquet Council commenced today, entries constituting a record, being 100 more than last vear.
The president of the council, Mr J. Murray, .said that this year's tourney marked an epoch in New Zealand croquet because of the visit of the English team, to whom he extended a hearty welcome. An official welcome was also extended by the Mayor •
