INDICATION OF POLICY ..(By Electric (Atißiralian & NZ Cable Association) ' WASHINGTON, 16th Jan. What is considered an important indication of the naval pplicy of the United States is seen'in'an-announcement that both the new aircraft earners, Lexington and 'Saratoga, which were recently commissioned, have been assigned to the Pacific battle fleet. It was ongi-. pally, intended that the Lexington was to be the-"flagship of the aircraft squadron of the Atlantic' scouting fleet. Both vessels together carry 166 airplanes, and 200 aviators.
