Works have gone to America with a view of forming a company to carry out a trans-Atlantic airplane service' bv means of Bumpier giant allmetal flying boats, with a win.gspread of 282ft,' equipped with ten 860 horsepower motors, with a speed of 160 miles an hour. It is predicted that these craft could regularly cross every twentyfour hours, carrying 130 passengers and crew of 35 at ah estimated fare of £75. The route would be- via Azores and Newfoundland.

(A.P.A. and "Sun'’) TONDON, 14th Jan. Van Lear Black chartered a Dutch air liner to fly from London to Capetown and back with the same pd.ots as in the Dutch Indies flight.
