AIR FORCE OPERATIONS
AGAINST WAHABI TRIBESMEN (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, 14th January.. The ‘Daily Express” Basra correspondent reports that Royal AirJForce operations began against tile Wahabi chief Feisal el Dawish, who raided border villages and slew all males. Die base of operations is Ur of the Chaldees, where more than fifty aeroplanes assembled from Basra, Baghdad, and Mosul, under Air Commander Higgins. They are now searching the surrounding desert daily for marauders. Faisal's stronghold lias bijon deserted.
