ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
(United Press Association) HAMILTON, This Day. A charge of. attempted suicide was preferred against Victor Allwood Walmslew Lellings, aged 52, to-day, when ho was convicted and ordered to pay medical expenses. It was stated that lie was a .mill-hand at Otorohnnga and was in a fit of despondency following a drinking bout, lie attempted suicide by cutting bis throat and stabbing himself in the chest, being found wandering twelve miles from Otorohanga. He said that lie was depressed by tlio loneliness.
