TEACHERS’ SUMMER SCHOOL
(To the Editor) Sir, —The Automobile Association is asking for fifty cars for Tuesday to take our visitors for a trip round Ruby Bay, and it is to be hoped that every endeavour will be made to procure them, or even mare. But it ij safe to state that those lending will be, mostly residents who are not gaining anything financially from the visitors. I am quite sure these cars will be lent willingly, but 1 suggest, Sir, that the tradespeople who are gaining by the visit should pay a share for several taxis, so that no visiting teacher will be left behind who would wish to go. I, am lending my car willingly and so trust this will appeal to those not helping. Nelson’s sunshine is known everywhere, and let its hospitality be equally a record. — I am, etc., BENZINE. Nelson, 16Lh Jan.
