EXCURSION TO KAWATIRI
RAILWAY EXPERIMENT TRIP ARRANGED FOR TO-MORROW j As an experiment tho Railway De-| partment is tomorrow running an excursion train at greatly reduced rates from Nelson to Kawatiri and back. Ine train will arrive at Kawatiri just before noon, ami will leave again for Nelson at 5' p.m. The trip should be particularly attractive for picnic parties, as the line ends amongst beautiful native bush. Some fear of possible fire in this bush has been expressed, and those who make tho trip to-morrow are asked to take special care in lighting fires. There will also be a motor lorry available to take, a limited number to Lake Rotoroa where launch trips may be taken by those who so wish. —_
