EMPIRE THEATRE
BRIGHT ENTERTAINMENT At the Empire Theatre this evening a double star programme will He presented. The first feature on the programme is Hoot Gibson in "The Denver Dude." Although western in its locale, and with much action typical of this type of picture, "The Denver Dude" is more than, a "western" in the usual sense of the word. It is light comedy, with the inimitable Hoot riding the crest of every scene and situation with his winning personality always beaming through and his innate sense of comedy always foremost. The second feature is a most thrilling railroad drama entitled "Roaring Rails" starring Harry Carey. There is a good supporting programme and special music by the New Empire Orchestra. 'On Monday and Tuesday next, Syd. Chaplin will be seen in one of his greatest successes, Bruce BairnsfatheAs famous comedy "The Better 'Ole." A big cast of funmakers supports Syd., including Harold Goodw'n, Theodore LorcTi, Ed. Kennedy, Charles Gerrard (all of whom appeared in "The. Man on the Box"), Doris Hill, Tom McGuire. Jack Ackrovd, Hank Mann, and Tom Kenriedv. "
