FURTHER SECTIONS CLOSING DOWN (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Asuociation) SYDNEY, 3rd Dec. The management of the Broken Hill Proprietary .Steelworks, at Newcastle, has decided that additional sections of the works shall be closed in pursuance of the policy of retrenchment, which is the result of foreign competition. Six hundred additional men at the weekend will be dismissed.
