REVOLVER IN HIP POCKET
REVELATIONS IN CHRTSTCHURCII COURT (United Press Association) CHRLSTCHURCH. This Day. j Beforo Magistrate Mosloy to-day Lcs.lie Edgar Schultz pleaded not guilty to ia charge, of carrying, a revolver without lawful purpose, and guilty to charges of 'carrying a firearm without a license and of failing to register it. The police said that the pistol, fully loaded, had been found in the man's hip pocket, and a torch in another. His room was searched and another pistol was found as well as a bunch of keys and a mask. Counsel said the defendant had found the large revolver and had been given the other.
The. Magistrate said it was fortunate. accused-had nothing against him, otherwise lie would have been sent to gaol. He was convicted, on all charges and fined £2, in default 14 days imprisonment on the first charge, ami placed on probation for the others.
