Cable Association) SYDNEY, This Day At Leichhardt Stadium Trowern (lOst 5Hb) just managed to secure sufficient margin of points to defeat Hancock (lOst 61bs). It was a very close contest and the New Zealander, only by scoring most points in the last few rounds, was enabled to gain the. decision. Hancock, who was not in the best of form scored a good lead over the first six rounds and had the New Zealander floored in the. ninth. Thereafter the Litter made a good recovery and scraped through by a narrow margin.
