ENGINEER'S DEPARTMENT (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The City Council adopted a report by tho Works Committee recommending the reorganisation -of the engineer’s department, which has been in a state of chaos for a long time, owing to the resignation of three officers, whose places were only partly, filled. A chief engineer was obtained from England not long ago, and (he report recommended three sub-engineers, two of whom were already appointed in the Kms of F. N. Thompson and K. E. .
