ESCAPE FROM PRISON
(United Press Association) TIMARU, This Day. _ At the Magistrate’s Court. Leslie Alywn Olsen McKenzie, charged with breaking prison at Timaru on 27th November, and with the theft of two blankets, one overcoat, and other articles of a total value of £5, on the charge of breaking gaol was sentenced to three years at a Borsal institution, to bo concurrent with a previous sentence, and on the charge, of theft, convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called on. This means an additional sentence of one year.
