FORM AT RICCARTON (By-Telegraph—Special to “The Mail"' CHRISTCHURCH, 30 Nov. There was some interesting work at Riccarton to-day, chiefly done l).y hoirses with engagements at the South, Canterbury Meeting. Fair Exchange and Silver Coot moved freely in a spin over five furlongs. They are both in first class fettle. Money Mart and Noteworthy, from tiie same stable, also sprinted well.. Fresco beat -Margaret Birn.ey in a run over seven furlongs. Fresco is gradually getting hack to form and a race may gome his way later on. Martarma moved in good style in a six furlong gallop. He gave Oriflamb a start and gathered him up without any trouble. Martarma will be strongly supported in his engagements at the South Canterbury Meeting. Money Order dashed-over three furlongs smartly while Stormy went well in h similar task. Front Rank reeled off seven furlongs in excellent style. She finished strongly and .she should run well in her South Canterbury engagements. Battle colours and Moorland were associated. over seven furlongs. Both horses went well hut Battle Colours held his mate at the finish and he looks as if he is coming to his best form. Wild Work wa.s too good for Quarterdeck m a spin over six furlongs this morning. Wild Work, who is a sister to Clylei’s Play and "Sudden Storm, is a smart galloper likely to win a race very soon. Arikiwai and Island Fastness both showed a lot of speed in a five furlong spin. The former may be worth watching for hack sprint events. "
