The wholesale price of butter was reduced a halfpenny a pound to 182 s per hundredweight. The Flour Mill Owners’ Association reduced the prices of flour, bran, and pollard by 10s a ton. i Detectives arrested a man whom they charged with obtaining £265 by false pretences from Albert Pearson, of Auckland.
