GOVERNMENT TO BE RECONSTRUCTED “NO WAR WITH'POLAND” PREMIER'S CONVICTION (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) RIGA, 30th November. Following meetings between Smetona, president of Lithuania, Premier -Valde mai'as, a number of officers, and civil representatives, Valdemarps announced that the Government will bo reconstructed. He expressed the conviction that there would be no war with Poland and declared that the majority of rumours which were circulating in Europe emanated from Russia.
