PROHIBITION OF BETTING

. SYDNEY, 30tli Nov.. The Government is introducing a Bill next week to prohibit betting or wagering after sunset on any licensed racecourse or coursing ground. Tliis is to prevent bookmakers operating at any mechanical coursing meeting at night.
