PUBLICATIONS RECEIVED
From Messrs Gordon, and Gotch (per Hounsell and C 0.,) comes the ', first monthlv number of a new volume of the "Boys Own Paper," still one of the best of the world's 'magazines for boys, although the father of to-day is convinced that-no one has taken the place in this publication of the school and after-school stories of Talbot Barnes Reed, in which father revelled in tho days of his youth. Accompanying it aro tho December issues of .the Weldon publications—-tho "Ladies journal".and "Bazaar of Children's Fashions." Despite tho advent of many rivals, the Weldon issues retain their great hold on public favour. As usual, free paper patterns and transfers are included. .'•"".•
