FREE INSURANCE SCHEME
A ritSrUTED CLAIM (United Press Association) , CHRLSTCUURCH, This Day. Because Philip Joseph Stanley Schumacher, who was insured under the "Sun'sV free insurance scheme, was playing a friendly game of football when lie was injured, and was not engaged in an authorised match, the "Sun" refused to pay out on his claim. It was set out in the statement of claim that on 28th June, 1927, plaintiff complied with alt the conditions necessary to entitle him to the benefits of the "Sun's" free insurance scheme, conducted by the defendant company. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the amount claimed, £lO 18s, with costs, tho ''Magistrate holding that plaintiff was engaged in a game of sport.
