It was resolved to request a written confirmalioh of the same and to thank the Marlborough executive for their assistance in backing up the movement. CROWN LEASES

A reply through Mr R. P. Hudson from the Minister for Lands to a resolution forwarded emphasising the high average of rentals and smallness of area of Crown leases in the Nelson Land District was received, the Minister asking for specific instances of the same. The chairman spoke as to what had been done with regard to this question, and pointed out that the matter had been well threshed out at the meeting of Crown tenants with the Minister, held at Tapawera. Therefore nothing further need he done.—Received.

Dairy Company, gave information regarding candidates for the vacancies on the directorate, and urged all shareholders to exercise their vote, as forms had been posted instead of voting bv proxy or personal attendance.
