Mr Veilch, Liberal Leader, spoke here last evening dealing extensively with land settlement, farmers’ finance, an:l dairy control. He also touched on the fiscal policy of the Government and expenditure, on the lines of his Tnvercargill address. He made an appeal for support for his Party, and predicted a Liberal victory at the next election.
