BURGLAR COMMITTED FOR
SENTENCE

PALMERSTON N., This Day. In the Police Court, James Wood, aged 20, pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence charged with breaking and entering and stealingarticles from the dwellinghouse of Herbert Atkinson. Accused was seen to> leave the house by the. wife of the owner, who informed"her husband. The latter followed accused, until,' with help, he apprehended him. The Bench commended Atkinson for the prompt way he pursued accused, otherwise further trouble might have occurred.
