STOWAWAYS IN COURT
CONVICTED AND DISCHARGED

John Burke, aged 25, and John rVnton Tuoiney. aged 23, two Australians without work in London, who stowed away on the Maniari which arrived here yesterday, were convicted and discharged in the Police Court, to-day. The captain spoke highly of both men. who worked well on the voyage and worked remarkably long hours when several members of the crew became ill.
