RUGBY SUB-UNION MEETING ! The monthly meeting of the iMotiieka Rugby Sub-union, held in Jaquea' rooms on Monday evening, was attended by the following members and delegates:— Messrs Harry. Manoy (chairman), H. B. MeGla'shen,..). C. Smith, 0. A. Banner, L. It. Cutforfh, E. Heed, P.. Jenkins, K. Fowler, G. W. Boundy, H. Delaney (Referees' Association), and Dr. A. H. Green.

The chairman, in extending a welcome to Mr Dclany as delegate from the Referees' Association, stated that it was desirable to have a representative from that body present. He could be of assistance to the Union, and at the same time gain information on behalf of the association.

Accounts amounting tO' £6 2s were passed for payment. The Tikaok'ao- Football Club's request that two of its junior members now playing senior be reinstated was granted.

Mr Banner stated that he had arranged with Nelson to bring over two teams —a bantam and a school team —to play a curtain-raiser to the representative match cn:Saturday. Dr. Green suggested that the SubUnion should be represented on the Progress League. Mr G. W. Boundy was appointed as delegate. This being' the first meeting since If r Manov's appointment to the presidency of "the N.Z. Rugby Union, Dr. Green took, the opportunity of congratulating the chairman on' his attainment .
