SPRING GROVE
At a concert and social evening held in the Spring Grove drill shed the progrvnme comprised selections by the Wakefield Brass Band, vocal and children's items, games, competitions, etc. The winner of the. cake guessing competition was Miss Hill. Mr Higgins won the candle-lighting competition. The proceeds of the function were divided between the Band and Spring Grove School funds. ,
