AXEMEN'S AND ATHLETIC SPORTS The annual Axemen's and Athletic Sports -wore held on the Show Ground on Friday, Jnne 3rd, there being a large attendance of competitors and visitors from all parts. In the evening a very successful Ball was held, there being a great crowd on the floor, which was in charge of Messrs Watson and S. Borkin. A ladies' committee consisting of Mesdames Watson, Goodyer, Robertson and Worthingtou were responsible for a. very dainty supper. The music was supplied by Milligan's Orchestra, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing very suitably finished a successful day's sport.
