TWO PLEAD GUTLTY

Its the Police Court Jock Jolirwton (22) end itoihk feuHer -VIA) pleaded guilty to nine charges of breaking and entering and tlioft of goods valued at £072/.'t/10. Herbert Cooper admitted receiving stolen goods, and William James Me In tyre- and Amehia Bertha Cooper admitted being in possession of stolen property. Jonhston, Midler, and Herbert Cooper were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on the charges named.
Buller and Johnston were sentenced to three months' on a summary charge of being in possession of explosives. Mclntyre and Bertha Cooper wore prohibited, and ordered to come up for sentence when called on. Statements by accused to detectives minutely describing their operations were put in as evidence. Herbert Cooper said he regarded Buller and Johnston as good men at their work in the burglary line. He knew they were doing burglaries and bringing the proceeds to his (Cooper's) house. He was afraid Johnston would murder him if he gave information. Johnston assaulted him four times. Both Johnston and Buller had gelignite detonators and fuse in their room. He was satisfied, from their conversation, that, they were working fit safes. ■
