CAMPBELL STATUETTE
NELSON CITY CADETS INSPECTION TO-MORROW' The Nelson City Cadet Coy. will be examined to-morrow for the Campbel Statuette, at present held by the Wanganui Cadets, who won if from Nelson last vear. The local Company is representing the South Island in the competition, and in view of its previous excellent record in these contests a good showing is anticipated. The examining hoard consists of: — Lieut.-Colonel J. E. Duigan, D. 5.0., N.Z.S.C; Lieut.-Colonel White, D. 5.0., D.C.M., N.Z.S.C; and Bient.Colonel Thorn, D. 5.0., M.C., N.Z.S.C. Unless the day is wet to-morrow the inspection will be Iheld at the Botanical Reserve; otherwise the Drill Hall arid Newman Bros, garage (kindly offered for the occasion) wid be used.
