EGYPTIAN EXCAVATIONS

REMARKABLE DISCOVERY

PRINCESS WITH BOBBED HAIR

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association)

CAIRO, 18th May The Harvard-Boston expedition made a remarkable discovery. They unearthed the tombs of Queen Meresankh and Princess Hetepheres, both of whom were children of Cheops, who built the pyramid. A rock cut chapel of three rooms contains twenty statues and statuettes in niches of the wall, also vivid pictures in which Princess Hetepheres is represented as a pretty blondq with bobbed hair.
