STRANDED RIVERINA
REFLOATING ABANDONED FOR THE PRESENT

(Received 20th Mav, 10.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Attempts to refloat, the Riverina have been abandoned for the present. If eventually the vessel is refloated the cost of repairs will be considerable, as the bottom of the ship has been more damaged than at first thought. Other damage is also reported.
