The Sacramento Whiskerino Club, organised some four years ago in the t'aiiforian capital, has been made heir lo the 15-fooi beard of Zachury Taylor "Wilcox, 7!). Civil War veteran of Carson City, capital of Nevada, who died there. The beard is reputed to have been the second longest hirsute adornment in America, Wilcox having come our second best in a tournament at Sacramento (luring the whiskering contest there four years ago. After the'Sacrameiito gathering Wilcox returned to Carson City and drew up a will in which he left, his whiskers lo the Sacramento Whiskerino Club. Shortly afterward he was injured in an automobile accident which kept him to his home until recent months.
.lust before interment the beard of Wilcox will be shorn to comply with the provisions of his will, and the whiskers will then be sent to the Sacramento Whiskerino Club.
