COLLISION AT SEA
A FRENCH BARQUE SUNK

LONDON, 27th Dec. Tlie steamer, Bimityf, of Liverpool, arrived at Portland. She reports a collision with the French barque Eugene Schneider, which sank. Four of her crew were saved by the Burutu’s boats, and twenty-four, are missing and are believed to be lost.
