WELLINGTON, 13tl. Od. The Wellirigton Fruitbrokers report : The market continues to he weil supplied with black spot and inferior grade fruit, which is very difficult to quit. All varieties of fancy grade fruit are arriving to a ready market, with the following values ruling at this morning's sale: Delicious 9 ]- to 11/-, Stunners 6/- to 7/6, Doughertys, llawkcs Ray 7/- to 8/-, Nelson 5/6 to 6/6, Washingtons 7/- to 8/6; other cookers 5/6 to o/-. All varieties of pears are commanding excellent attention. Coles, preferred sizes to 2|, 16/- to 18/-, Nelis 14/- to 15/6, Josephines 13/-, cooking varieties 9/- to 11/6. New potatoes 3d lb; green peas 6/peek ; asparagus lOd to 1/3 bunch ; eggs, tresji 1/7 to 1/8, preserved 1/4.
RUTTER REDUCED IN SYDNEY

The wholesale price of butter was reduced by a halfpenny a pound to 172/8 per cwt.

At the wool sales competition was keen and the market reproduced all (he best features of the previous sales. There was particularly keen demand for quality wools, which ruled firm at late rates. Comebacks and crossbreds were firinlv supported Greasy merino sold up to 27^1.
LONDON TALLOW SALES
Messrs Dalgely and Company Limited report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of the 12lh instant:
Tallow: Owing to lack of demand there will he no public sales this week. Any change in prices in favour of buyers.”
