OPENING OP NELSON SEASON POSTPONED FOR A WEEK The Emergency Committee having paid a visit of'inspection to the various grounds, find that the inclemency of the weather lias retarded the preparation of all wickets to such an extent that it- lias been necessary to postpone the opening of the season until the 23rd mst-.
There are four senior teams and ten junior teams entered for the competition.
Providing that the weather holds good, there will he an earlier start than last season.
