MISHAP TO KAITUNA
GOES ASHORE AT TAURANGA FLOATS OFF AT 111011 TIDE
'United Proas Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Advice has been received that llie Union Company's steamer Kailuna, bound from Gisborne to Taurangn, went ashore at the entrance to Tnuranga harbour between 5 and 6 o'clock last night. Later information from Tnuranga states that the Kaituna, which was stranded on the middle 'bank, came off at high tide shortly after 11 o'clock. She does not appear, to have suffered much damage.
