Chicago reports thai another outbreak of underworld warfare occurred today when \\ . O'Brien. former Assistant State .Attorney and a noted criminal lav.'yo/, was .shot and dangerously wounded, two gangsters killed, while two other men 'were wounded. The. shooting was done with a machine gun used under 'circumstance!; similar to those surrounding the, M'Swiggen case. The, slayers have not been ideulilied or apprehended. It is believed thai O'Brien's death, like i.M'Swiggen's, was not sought, but that he. was shot in ignorance of his identify, while in the company of members ol one gang of criminals whose extermination was desired by another, all arising out 1.1 beer running feuds.
