Mrs 0. Sullivan, of Teinuka. slipped on a doorstep a few days ago anil broke an ankle, tbobnno protruding;. She was taken to the hospital .where the wound was cleansed and dressed, but gangrene set in and though the leg was amputated the woman.died,- At. Ihe inquest, a verdict that death .was the result of an accident, was returned.
