TO-MORROW'S RECITAL
AN ENJOYABLE EVENING

The programme of the recital to be given in the School of Music to-morrow evening by Trevor do Clive Lowe, 'cellist, assisted by jVtisses Caverhill and Wilding and Mr Ernest'Short will prove of exceptional interest to all music lovers. Trevor de Clive Lowe's violoncello playing is always a sure delight and the major portion of an evening devoted to such music will be greatly appreciated by many in Nelson. Miss L. Caverhill and Miss V. Wilding at the piano and Mr Ernest Short's singing, will add interest and enjoyment In the evening. The Sonata for 'cello- and piano (Edward Greig) is full of melody and calls forth the full range and beauty of the violoncello. In the Concerto for 'cello in A Minor (Saint-Saens), a. quaint theme of great delicacy and high originality is announced by the piano which then repeats it, while, the 'cello overlays with a related (but distinct air. The recital has been inspired by music lovers specially interested in instrumental music and a large gathering is anticipated.
