CANTERBURY WOOL
PROSPECTS BRIGHT i (By Telegraph-Special to The Mail). CIIRISTOHURCIT, This Day. Judging by reports received from all parts of the province and by the opinions of men in the trade who arc watching affairs in the country, the condition of Canterbury wool this year is particularly promising and it. is thought that given an ordinary amount of luck with the weather from now on, the. clip will be (ho best for years. Prices seem to indicate that prospects for South Island half and three-quarter bred wools are particularly bright, and it is thought that at the November sales prices will start at last season's best values.
