CALCUTTA, Sept. 7 At the tea salc-s the market was irregular. Broken orange pekoe 13£ annas; medium 14 ; good 145 ; broken pekoe 13, 135 and 14; tannings U£, 12.', ami 13.',. CHICAGO- WHEAT MARKET (Bee. Sept. 8. 10.10 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 7. Wheat quotations are:—September 130 J cents a bushel, December 143'; May 139^. LONDON WOOL SALES Messrs Dalgely and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the Gtli inst. : “Wool sales commence on 14th inst. Ttie list of arrivals closed to-day. Quantity available:—Australian, 37,500 bales: Cape, 1,000 bales; New Zealand, 44,000 bales; South American, 20,000 bales. Carried forward from last sale, 70,000 bales.” DAIRY PRODUCE “Butter.— The market is demoralised. Since our last report of 3rd inst., prices are lower a further 4s per cwt. There are over 1,000,000 boxes of various descriptions in cold stores. Quotations arc nominal.” TALLOW MARKET “Market very quiet. Owing to the small demand, there will be no public sales this week.”
